In a traditional chassis dynamometer, the control software requires the roller mass and circumference to calculate engine power. With a portable road dynamometer, only the vehicle&#8217;s weight needs to be entered \u2013 nothing more.<br \/>\nThe measurement process then follows the same principles as an inertial chassis dynamometer.
