NEW GENIUS IS THE STAND ALONE DEVICE FOR THE SERIAL COMMUNICATION WITH THE ENGINE CONTROL UNIT (ECU), THROUGH THE VEHICLE OBDII SOCKET OR VIA SPECIFIC DIAGNOSTIC CONNECTORS.
It does not require connections to a personal computers or laptop for the management of the serial communication: it has never been so simple and immediate to achieve programming operations of the vehicle stock ECU. Intuitive operations to maximize the ease of use: New Genius is a true asset for every tuner thanks to the impossibility to perform wrong operations. Detailed instructions appear on the screen and drive the tuner until the vehicle is programmed.

before programming the vehicle, New Genius verifies the size of the file and the checksum integrity/congruence. In addition, should the programming procedure be interrupted (example: connector unplugged), the device would recover the communication and automatically complete it. Several additional features integrate the conventional operations, like the possibility to reset faulty codes tied to the ECU programming, the reading and automatic writing of the injector settings, counters reset, etc.

Race EVO is the remapping software developed by Dimsport allowing the optimization and the recalibration of the relevant engine working parameters stored into the ECU with simple and intuitive operations.
The intention is to support the user in his tuning purposes with a multilevel, professional application, for the development of better engine performances and the reduction of the fuel consumption.
The internal structure of the software collects data and information organizing their visualization in a functional database; a USB logic key (dongle) protects the user against unauthorized access by others.
RACE EVO FULL
Professional file editing software developed by DIMSPORT. Thanks to integration with the NEW GENIUS programmer, it allows the automatically import vehicle data: make, model, engine type, etc.
It uses settings files to display maps showing engine performance. The settings files are ‘mappacks’ specially created by DIMSPORT technicians for the Race Evo: with the settings files, the software filters all the data and identifies maps to optimise the power and torque curve.
The maps can be visualised in a numerical table , 2-D and 3-D graphs. The user can operate on both numerical tables and graphical charts, dragging up or down specific displayed curves to maximise precision. A helpful aid to map calibration analysis is the different colours displayed on the 3D graph.
In numerical tables, modification can be set both numerically and by percentage; there is even a function to interpolate the values contained in the maps. The software is designed to automatically recalculate the checksum at the end of the tuning operation, thus ensuring the compatibility of the new file.

FEW EASY STEPS TO GET TO THE CORE:
New Trasdata allows the reading and programming of the whole content of the ECU: microprocessor (CPU), flash Eprom and serial Eeprom. A wide variety of operations is therefore supported: after the initial reading, it is always possible to retrieve the original ECU content even in the case of blocking (back-up). This tool also perform autonomous checksum recalculations to ensure normal engine working conditions after the modification. The operations can be performed without any physical soldering/desoldering intervention: a metal positioning frame provided with specific terminal adapters create the connection between the ECU board and the tool. In specific cases, it is possible to perform reading/writing operations without even opening the ECU.
