PQ334 is an advanced pressure sensor from Pico, equipped with a PicoBNC+ connector and designed for measuring pressures up to 14 bar. The device comes with a Foster adapter, allowing for easy and quick connection to various measurement systems.

The PQ334 is not designed as a replacement for the WPS500X pressure transducer. The WPS500X has higher sensitivity and a wider measurement range, making it suitable for a much broader range of use cases. For example, in terms of range, the PQ334 PicoBNC+ 14 bar pressure transducer can be used for pressure measurements in cylinders of certain vehicles, but not in those with gasoline or diesel engines with a higher compression ratio. In terms of sensitivity, the PQ334 does not easily detect smaller pressure changes, such as those occurring during exhaust pressure measurements or in the crankcase (for this, we recommend the Pico WPS500X transducer). Due to these limitations, the PQ334 PicoBNC+ 14 bar pressure transducer is best viewed as a pressure measurement probe with a more limited purpose, but convenient as a replacement for a pressure gauge.
