IDEAL EXPERT CHARGER 48 MULTIVOLTAGE 12/24/36/48V

IDEAL EXPERT CHARGER 48 MULTIVOLTAGE is a microprocessor-controlled battery charger designed for charging 12V/24V/36V/48V batteries. The device is compatible with WET, GEL, MF, AGM, EFB and LFP batteries. The charger is also equipped with a SUPPLY function, which allows the selected voltage to be maintained in the vehicle’s electrical system, for example during vehicle ECU programming. Additionally, the device features an ALTERNATOR function, enabling a quick check of the proper operation of the vehicle’s alternator.

Wide Range of Supported Batteries

EXPERT CHARGER 48 MULTIVOLTAGE supports charging of:

• WET – lead-acid batteries with liquid electrolyte,
• MF – maintenance-free batteries,
• AGM – batteries with an absorbent glass mat,
• GEL – gel batteries,
• EFB – batteries used, among others, in vehicles equipped with Start-Stop systems,
• LFP – lithium iron phosphate batteries.

SUPPLY Function – Voltage Maintenance

One of the key features of the EXPERT CHARGER 48 MULTIVOLTAGE is the SUPPLY mode, which allows a stable preset voltage to be maintained in the vehicle’s electrical system during operations other than battery charging.

The device can provide a continuous current of up to 25A, while the maintenance voltage can be adjusted in 0.1V increments.

Adjustment ranges:

• 12V: 12.0–14.9V, default value 13.6V
• 24V: 24.0–29.8V, default value 27.2V
• 36V: 36.0–44.7V, default value 40.8V
• 48V: 48.0–59.6V, default value 54.4V

This function is particularly useful during service operations that require a stable power supply for the vehicle’s electronic systems.

ALTERNATOR Function

The device is also equipped with an ALTERNATOR function, which allows a quick check of the alternator’s operation and the vehicle’s charging system.

This makes the charger useful not only for battery charging but also for basic diagnostics of the vehicle’s electrical system.
