Control unit programming

Quickly read and write ECUs and TCUs using OBD, BENCH and BOOT methods. bFlash automatically verifies the checksum during reading and corrects it during writing.

Datalogging

Depending on the control unit, it can provide basic SAE/OBDII data logging, manufacturer-specific data logging (KWP/UDS), or even advanced data logging via user-supplied A2L (RMBA/CCP/XCP/non-standard bFlash patch).

Real-time tuning

Aimed at experienced users, the solution is designed to simplify work by integrating the editor into the bFlash interface. Adjustments are made in real time via a diagnostic socket, on a previously patched ECU.

Vehicle diagnostics

Read error codes for various ECUs and TCUs. Depending on the ECU, the error list, also called DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code), can be retrieved in SAE/OBDII mode or in manufacturer-specific mode (KWP/UDS).

Diagnostics: dynamometer mode

Dynamometer mode is a function that allows the vehicle’s power to be properly measured on the test bench (dynamometer). Depending on the vehicle and the control units installed, functions such as ESP, ABS and front assist steering will be disabled, preventing these critical modules from being missed during the measurement.

Datalogging – an overview of recorded data

A built-in data analysis tool allows users to evaluate control unit measurement data in Measurement Data Format (MDF). Our intuitive time slider allows users to zoom out to short time intervals. Many features are designed to make your work easier, for example, you can overlay and compare two sets of data in seconds.

CAN BUS Recording

You can use this function to record and save the communications and files that the OEM diagnostic tool sends to your car during a software update. In general, you can use it for troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs.
