Korhex – Boot Glitch and MCU Access Tool for FLEX

Korhex expands the capabilities of the FLEX ecosystem with a hardware solution developed to simplify advanced access and unlocking procedures for protected ECUs by working directly on the MCU.

Fewer operations, more direct access

Traditional Boot procedures on modern protected ECUs may require several physical operations on the control unit. In supported applications, Korhex provides a more direct, cleaner and less invasive approach.

Fewer operations on the ECU
Korhex simplifies ECU access by reducing the number of physical operations required before programming.

No component desoldering
Supported procedures do not require resistors to be removed or other unnecessary hardware modifications to be performed.

No manual Boot pin connections
Supported Korhex procedures do not require the Boot pins to be connected manually. Position Korhex on the indicated MCU contact point and allow FLEX to guide you through the next stages of the procedure.

Direct MCU access

Korhex uses a specific contact point on the microcontroller to perform the access procedures available for supported ECUs.

Thanks to Boot Glitch technology and integration with FLEX, the process requires less preparation and reduces physical handling of the ECU circuit board.

How does the procedure work?

1. Connect
Prepare and connect the ECU by following the procedure indicated by FLEX.

2. Position Korhex
Position Korhex on the specified MCU contact point.

3. Unlock
Run the access and Boot Glitch procedure available for the supported ECU.

4. Program
Complete the procedure and continue working through FLEX.

Designed for advanced ECU work

Korhex was developed in response to the evolution of modern MCU architectures and the needs of professionals who work with protected ECUs every day.

The solution is designed to provide a more straightforward workflow, reduce invasive operations on the ECU and deliver cleaner, easily repeatable procedures.

FLEX and Korhex – one ecosystem

Korhex is not a standalone platform. It is a hardware extension developed to expand the capabilities of the FLEX ecosystem.

Dedicated protocols and guided procedures available through the FLEX software combine ECU access, unlocking and programming into a single workflow.
