KESS3 Bench Cable for ZF 8HP
The KESS3 Bench Cable for ZF 8HP is designed for direct connection between the tuning tool and ZF 8HP transmission control units, as well as selected AL-series controllers. It enables Bench mode operations, including reading, writing, repairing, and cloning supported TCU units.
Supported controller families:
- ZF 8HP45, 8HP50, 8HP55, 8HP65, 8HP70, 8HP75, 8HP76 and 8HP90 – depending on support provided by your tuning tool,
- selected AL450, AL551, AL552 / ALx52 and AL951 units,
- selected ZF 8HP Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3 controllers using SH725xx processors,
- the cable is not intended for TC275 processor variants.
Note for post-2022 controllers: newer ALx52 / AL552 Gen 2 units may require a dedicated cable compatible with the specific interface. Please check the TCU generation before purchase.
Important: before purchasing, make sure your tuning tool supports the specific controller and select the correct cable version.
