What is Knorr‑Bremse Diagnostics in Jaltest?

Add-On for Jaltest software:

• Knorr‑Bremse Diagnostics is a subscription-based module that extends the capabilities of the standard multi-brand diagnostics (Jaltest Diagnostics) with authorized functions and technical information from the manufacturer Knorr‑Bremse.
• No additional license is required to use this module.

Standalone version:

• Designed for users who only need diagnostics for Knorr‑Bremse systems (e.g. ECUTalk, iTEBS X) without requiring the full version of Jaltest.
• The interface remains the same – the same application, without the need for an additional Jaltest license. The software can be expanded in the future to include Jaltest diagnostics for CV, Trailer, or AGV / OHW / MHE.

Functions of the Knorr‑Bremse Diagnostics module:

• Next-generation diagnostics for Knorr‑Bremse braking systems, including iTEBS® X for trailers/semitrailers
• Ability to program components such as EAC+ (air dryer), including copying data from previous modules and licensed ECUs, with step-by-step guidance
• Integration with the OCT (Online Configuration Tool) platform – a cloud service for configuring trailers according to the latest safety regulations and SUMS
• Unified interface: diagnostics for tractors and trailers within a single software
• Access to original manuals, wiring diagrams, charts, SMART Guides, and workshop guides in multiple languages, including Polish
• Technical support: possible access to Central Services – Jaltest remote assistance

• Full diagnostics for Knorr‑Bremse systems: iTEBS, iTEBS X, EBS, ABS, EAC+ (air dryers), GSBC, ECUTalk, TPMS, Pneumatic valves
• Ability to read and clear faults, monitor live parameters, and perform activation tests
• ECU programming – including cloning and copying configurations (e.g., EAC+)
• Ability to copy configurations from old ECUs (when possible)
• Original Knorr-Bremse technical data: wiring diagrams, manuals, SMART Guides
• Support for the OCT platform – trailer configuration according to UN/ECE and SUMS
• Integration with Jaltest Diagnostics – available as an add-on to any Jaltest software or as a standalone module

• If you are already using Jaltest Diagnostics (CV or Trailer license), you can purchase just the add-on (Knorr-Bremse license) without needing the complete hardware kit. The hardware package is only required if you are starting from scratch.
