UCDS v.5 Ford Full

This is a comprehensive package designed for advanced diagnostics, programming, configuration, and servicing of electronic modules in Ford vehicles. The package includes two licenses – ODO License and EXT License – which significantly expand the capabilities of the UCDS software and provide access to additional service and programming functions. The full range of available functions depends on the specific vehicle model, model year, installed modules, and availability of the appropriate software.

ODO License

The ODO License is designed to perform selected operations related to instrument clusters, vehicle modules, and the configuration of additional functions. Depending on the supported model, it enables:

• Ford Focus II – models from 2008 onwards, including activation of the automatic mirror-folding function when locking/arming the vehicle.
• Ford Focus III – programming of higher-power software in selected versions, e.g. changing the output from 150 HP to 163 HP.
• Selected Ford models equipped with supported instrument clusters – mileage reset, provided that this function is supported.
• Selected Ford models with second-generation Sony radios – changing the interface language, e.g. to Russian.

EXT License

The EXT License expands the capabilities of the UCDS software with additional functions related to the programming, updating, and configuration of Ford vehicle modules. The available functions depend on the specific vehicle model, installed modules, and availability of the appropriate software files. The EXT License includes, among others:

• VBF Loader – allows software files in .VBF format to be uploaded to supported Ford modules. This function enables selected modules to be programmed using the appropriate files.
• Update Wizard – allows the software of selected Ford modules to be updated using the latest available IDS databases. The function works when the required update files are available on the servers. Not all modules can be updated this way – in some cases, update files are not provided for security reasons, or the manufacturer specifies another update method, such as USB or an SD card.
• Direct Config – enables direct configuration of supported Ford modules. This function is particularly associated with the Ford Mondeo V and newer models, allowing selected module configuration parameters to be changed.
• EEPROM Read/Write – enables reading and writing the contents of EEPROM memory in selected instrument clusters and steering wheel modules, provided that the particular module is supported.
