ThinkCar PROG 2 is a professional programming device designed for car keys and immobilizer (IMMO) systems. It enables reading and writing IMMO data, generating new keys, and working with ECU, MCU and EEPROM components in supported passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The programmer works with selected ThinkCar THINKTOOL diagnostic tools, extending their capabilities with advanced key programming and immobilizer functions. It supports over 1,000 types of ECUs, MCUs and EEPROMs and offers dedicated functions for VAG, BMW and Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

• VW/Audi – 4th Generation IMMO System – functions related to engine replacement, EZS module replacement, comfort control module replacement and KESSY module replacement (after 2016).
• VW/Audi – MQB Platform – procedures related to engine, transmission and steering column replacement.
• Audi – 5th Generation IMMO System – functions related to transmission replacement.

BMW and Mercedes-Benz Key Programming

The ThinkCar PROG 2 programmer supports immobilizer systems used in BMW and Mercedes-Benz vehicles. It enables reading and writing IMMO data and generating new keys for compatible systems from these manufacturers.

Important: Mercedes-Benz key generation does not support the FBS4 system.
