DiaLink J2534 – diagnostic interface

The universal J2534 DiaLink adapter from SMS-Software is designed for ECU diagnostics and reprogramming via the CAN bus. It is fully compatible with CombiLoader and can be used with any third-party software.

Applications of DiaLink:

• Adapter compatible with J2534;
• Supplied with the J2534 interface library, it can be used to reprogram ECUs using CombiLoader or for diagnostics with any third-party tools;
• Suitable for SMS-Diagnostics 3;
• In combination with SMS-Diagnostics 3 software, it can be used for diagnostics of modern vehicle control systems via the standard SAE J1962 diagnostic connector (connection to other diagnostic connectors is possible using additional adapters).

Thanks to the built-in microprocessor, the DiaLink adapter can be used not only as a diagnostic adapter for SMS-Diagnostics 3 or any J2534-compatible device, but can also be configured to operate in the following modes:

• K-Line — allows operation with any software designed for a standard USB-K-Line adapter;
• D-CAN — allows operation with BMW diagnostic software via EDIABAS (STD:OBD controller), supporting K-bus and CAN-bus;
• ELM327 — allows operation with software designed for ELM327 systems (mode will be added soon and provided via software update).
